Farm Products

Aside from a prolific vegetable garden, livestock are the thing at Dirigo Farm.

Chickens are great composters, till soil, provide fertilizer, eat ticks and destroy a garden.

Goats are versatile animals.  They are friendly and smart, relatively tidy, eat pasture plants that other grazers leave behind, efficiently yield mild meat that’s healthier than chicken, can produce a variety of fiber suitable for hand spinning, AND milk with multiple uses.

The horses help balance the war on parasites by alternately grazing the pasture with the goats. And create compost.

For the time being, our farm products are:

Free Range Eggs

Soap

Pasture Raised Meat Chickens

Maple Syrup

Composted Manure

Mulch Hay
